Overview and Description
The KDL Shoulder Stabilizer is a unique brace that limits shoulder
abduction and external rotation without compromising functionality.
The sliding D-ring attachment to the arm strap allows for unrestricted
flexion, extension, and horizontal adduction. Kinetic Innovations
uses Stomatex® a special breathable honeycomb designed neoprene
to significantly reduce heat generated during activity and provide
less skin contact. The result of this design is a much cooler
and more comfortable brace to wear than regular neoprene.

Use and Procedure
This brace can be used for either shoulder. To change sides, remove buckle
on chest strap, slide off arm strap and apply to opposite side. Be sure
that hook/loop pad is facing forward. Secure neoprene arm wrap to bicep
on affected arm/shoulder. Wrap should be applied directly to skin to prevent
migration or slipping. Apply chest harness. Adjust buckles and suspenders
to desired tension. Slide neoprene buckle cover into place. Internally rotate
affected arm. Position arm for desired restriction. Apply arm strap over
arm wrap from behind. Feed strap end through chest belt D-rings. Feed arm
strap end through buckle to form a continuous loop, tighten to desired level
of arm movement restriction. Cover arm assembly with an elastic wrap to
cover buckles and to secure the loose strap ends. Excess straps may be cut
to desired length. Melt ends to prevent fraying. For more information click
