Items are objective and easy to administer, and they give you a broad overview of a child's developmental status relative to other children the same age. A color-coded Record Form clearly shows age-appropriate performance for each item. Designed for the children from 2.9 through 5.8 years of age, MAP provides a separate form for each of six age levels. All forms evaluate five areas of performance, yielding the following index scores. Administration in 30 to 40 minutes.
