School Health-Press Release-Seven Bridges

School Health Alert, an independent newsletter published since 1986, keeps school nurses and other healthcare professionals, informed on the latest developments in student health services, health education, and safe school environment. The monthly newsletter is formatted as a digest with authoritative reviews from among over 50 major medical and nursing journals. "Many School Health Corporation customers are also subscribers to our School Health Alert newsletter, and will benefit from this affiliation," according to Robert Andrews, publisher. "School Health Corporation has been a strong advocate for school nursing for several decades."

School Health Corporation has been a long-time supporter of the school nursing profession and strives to educate its customers on the latest medical products. This partnership will provide School Health's customers access to a broad range of health topics, presented in a summary format. "Many of our customers do not have time to review all of the journals in their practice," said Stacey Incavo, School Health's marketing manager. "School Health Alert articles are concise, easy to read, and can be shared with non-medical staff to help them understand a condition."

The two organizations will be working together to reach more school nurses across the country. Initial plans include making the publication available to School Health's customers, offering articles on select topics for free through School Health's website, and distributing the resource book, Clinical Guidelines for School Nurses. In addition, School Health Alert members will receive a special discount for ordering medical supplies and equipment online at www.schoolhealth.com.

School Health Alert has been in publication since 1986 and is delivered to over 9,500 school nurses monthly. Their primary focus is to offer school nurses the most up-to-date information pertaining to their industry in a digest form. For more information about School Health Alert, please contact Robert Andrews at (615) 370-7899 or visit www.schoolnurse.com.
