ActCel Hemostatic Gauze

ActCel Advanced Bleeding Control HemoStatic Gauze is a fast and effective way to stop bleeding. Made from regenerated cellulose, it has the look and feel of regular gauze so it is easy to handle and application is simple. ActCel is completely inert with no chemical ingredients to complicate patient tolerance and is also unique in that it is completely water-soluble. It is easily removed with the addition of sterile water, saline or hydrogen peroxide.

How ActCel Hemostatic Gauze works:

1. Adheres to the bleeding surface, physically blocking the damaged blood vessels.
2. Expands, creating direct pressure on blood vessels to help stop bleeding.
3. Changes into a collagen-like gel that increases platelet aggregation and stabilizes clot formation.
4. Easily rinses away with sterile water, saline, or hydrogen peroxide.
