H&H Medical created the TK-4 as an easy-to-use tourniquet with a heavy-duty compression strap to help stop or slow blood loss in large wounds or arterial bleeding. Designed for one-handed use, the TK-4 to give the user the ability to apply the maximum capable force they can generate on lower extremities.
The TK-4 provides a tension fixture at one end of the strap. The added aluminum tension fixture results in the ability to apply manual force to the strap and increase the blood loss stoppage capability of the strap. By wrapping and compressing the strap around the extremity, the added compressive force increases the pressure on the limb and reduced the blood flow.
