The Powerheart pediatric electrodes provide reduced energy for pediatric patients. Intended for use on infants or children up to 8 years old, or up to 55 lbs (25 kg).
Features:
- When plugged in, the Powerheart AED limits the amount of energy (50 Joules) that is delivered to a child during a cardiac arrest emergency.
- Reduced-energy child/pediatric defibrillation pads are recommended for use on children who are less than 8 years of age or who weigh less than 55 pounds.
- Enable rescuers to reduce defibrillation levels and may be placed in either position on the chest to reduce confusion and save you time during a rescue. The Powerheart Pediatric AED Electrodes are interchangeable and easy to use.
- Pediatric pads may also be placed on the chest and back. The pads are compatible with all Powerheart G3 series AEDs (models 9300 and 9390).
- Pediatric Defibrillation Pads for children 8 years old or 55lbs and under.
It is recommended to keep an extra set of electrodes in case there are complications during the cardiac emergency.
