Product Description
Develop fine motor and life skills with this great activity. Friendly bear helps kids learn life skills by helping him get dressed. Each shaped puzzle piece features a different hands-on skill -- snap, button, zipper, belt buckle, plastic press-and-release buckle, and a lace. Pieces can be snapped, tied, buckled, buttoned, zipped, and fastened in the puzzle board, or take them out for extra practice.
Doubles as a puzzle. Both the individual activities and putting together the puzzle are great ways to help kids develop manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination, and to encourage problem-solving skills. Bright, colorful puzzle pieces encourage color recognition. 15"H x 11.5"L x 0.5"W. Ages 3 years and up.

Product Use/Directions | Discover Countless Ways To Play
Have kids name each of the skills that will be mastered -- snapping, buttoning, buckling, zipping, lacing and tying. Have kids name the color(s) of each puzzle piece. Show kids that the puzzle pieces on the bear's arms are interchangeable. Ask them to place the pieces in a specific order from left to right. For example: Place the snap piece first, then the button, etc. Repeat the activity using the predominant color of each piece. Time kids to see how quickly they are able to complete each of the skills and then undo them. Place four or more pieces in front of kids, asking them to study the pieces before closing their eyes while you remove one piece. Have kids identify the piece you removed. |
