Warnings:
During nosebleeds, it is recommended that people do not pack the nose with tissues or items like a cotton roll because this can make the bleeding worse and cause damage. Cotton inserted into the nose can cause internal damage to the nasal wall and introduce bacteria. Insertion of cotton into the nostrils should only be done by a trained medical professional.
