The Zone™ Six-Pocket Soccer Game

Gameplay: Set up 6’ x 4’ pop-up goals like a pool table: one in each corner and one in the middle of each longer side. Arrange the six colored soccer balls in a triangle in the center and place the white ball (cue ball) at a skill-appropriate distance. A shorter distance will allow more finesse but can also allow a greater impact. The first player "breaks" the colored balls by kicking the white ball into them. Players or teams then take turns trying to pocket the colored balls into their corresponding goals using the white ball (i.e., red ball into the red goal). The player or team pocketing the most balls wins.

Rule Suggestions:

1. Add goalies to increase difficulty.
2. Allow multiple players or teams on the field simultaneously.
3. Split the field into two halves and use soccer rules.
4. Add more colored balls for extended gameplay.
5. Eliminate the cue ball. Use only colored balls for younger players.
6. Lose points for scratching (kicking the cue ball out of bounds).
7. Triple points for pocketing a ball on a break.
