    Dr. Chaplin has trained, consulted, and lectured nationally and internationally about evidence-based vision screening from birth through age 21 years for associations like the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, National Assembly on School-Based Health Care, NASN and Head Start. She has published articles about vision screening in various peer-reviewed journals and organizational magazines, including the Journal of Pediatrics, Current Ophthalmology Reports, and NASN School Nurse.
