Kahn, RN, MPH

Coordinator for Health and Wellness for the Orange County Department of Education. Pamela has presented at State and National Conferences, taught at local community colleges and universities, and has held many Board positions for various professional organizations. She was recently elected as CSNO Treasurer for the 2015-2017 term. She is a published author and has received a number of awards including CSNO's School Nurse Administrator of the Year and NASN's Excellence in School Nursing recognition.

S. Block, OD, M Ed, FAAO, FCOVD

Dr. Block has authored numerous publications and has been invited to present all over the world. She is an active member of the faculty of the Illinois College of Optometry and currently serves as the Medical Director for the Illinois Eye Institute clinic at the Princeton Elementary School, a school based vision clinic that serves the 400,000 Chicago Public Schools children. She is also the Global Clinical Advisor, Special Olympics Lions Clubs International Opening Eyes.

P. Kay Nottingham Chaplin, Ed.D

Dr. Chaplin has trained, consulted, and lectured nationally and internationally about evidence-based vision screening from birth through age 21 years for associations like the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, National Assembly on School-Based Health Care, NASN and Head Start. She has published articles about vision screening in various peer-reviewed journals and organizational magazines, including the Journal of Pediatrics, Current Ophthalmology Reports, and NASN School Nurse.
