The Welch Allyn® DuraShock Sphygmomanometers are the only completely gear-free aneroid sphygmomanometers. By creating a gear-free design, Welch Allyn® has created a gauge that is shock resistant, lighter and much thinner than traditional gauges. The gauge snaps directly into the cuff for fast, easy cuff changes. They meet or exceed AAMI SP9 specifications for shock resistance, and maintain their peformance characteristics after a 30" drop! The latex-free cuff is easy to clean, disinfect or sterilize.
