The Worth 4 dot test, also known as the Worth dot test, tests for binocular fusion, or how well both eyes work together to fuse two separate images from each eye into one image. The patient, during this test, wears anaglyphic glasses. The red filter of the anaglyphic glasses blocks green light from the flashlight; the green filter blocks red light. If a patient, with both eyes open, sees the 4 lights, the patient has normal binocular vision. If both eyes do not work well together, meaning the patient cannot fuse the images of both eyes into one image, the patient will see 5 lights. Red/Green goggles included. It is used for testing and training of visual functions and testing for fusion, suppression, and/or diplopia. Requires 2 C batteries.
