The Disintegrator is a portable needle destruction device that serves as an effective alternative to conventional sharps containers for disposal of used needles in the home-use or school setting.
Uses plasma arc technology to destroy needle leaving no ash, residue or smoke.
Portable with rechargeable batteries.
One Touch: Easy, one-touch operations with no needle contact.
The kit comes with inserts for 3/10cc, 1/2cc and 1 cc syringes. TB syringe insert and 1/2- 1 1/2 blunting adapter are sold separately.
The Disintegrator uses a rechargeable battery to deliver an electrical current to produce an arc of electricity directed at the tip of the needle. This arc of electricity melts the tip of the needle, at a temperature of over 3000 degrees, and disintegrates the needle in to a small bb-shaped ball, ensuring the elimination of any pathogens. Any balls of melted metal that fall off during the process are collected in to a chamber where the ash or ball is sealed and does not need to be emptied. The remaining stub of the needle on the hub is less than 1/16th of an inch in length.
