APPOS Basic Vision Screening Kit - HOTV and Sloan Letters

The American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) is offering a basic kit with HOTV and Sloan Letters to assist anyone who screens vision, including school nurses, Lions Club members, Head Start, and medical personnel working in pediatrics and family medicine. This screening kit is for screening the vision of individuals beginning at age 3 years through adulthood.

Features:

• Full threshold and critical line charts with HOTV optotypes for young children and Sloan Letters for children who comfortably know their letters;
• Hand-held flip paddles (for ages 10 years and older);
• A 10-foot cord to measure the screening distance between the chart andthe child's eyes;
• A translucent Response Panel for matching when young children do not want to verbally identify an optotype
• Instructions printed on one of the eye chart cards
• Children's Fun Frames and Spectacle Occluders.
