Product Description
Rebus-supported activities in each book help younger students understand and use appropriate behavior and social skills. Engaging pictures help children "read" the lessons.
Ready-to-use lessons consist of simple, concrete things to say and do to guarantee social success. Each book contains instructional and behavioral lessons. Use instructional lessons to teach small groups of young children what they need to do or say in social situations that are often overwhelming, especially to children with autism. Use behavioral lessons with individual students to target specific social problems.
Concise format makes it easy to keep a copy of the lesson where the social situation occurs. Customize lessons by adding student-specific information, editing text, and using a photograph in place of the generic picture in the book.
Instructional lessons teach young children what they need to do or say in social situations. Behavioral lessons target specific social behaviors that need to be stopped.
Targeted for children ages 3 - 8 or at that level. Each softcover book has 60-65 pages, plus behavior tracking forms, behavior analysis forms, progress record forms, tracking forms for lessons, and teaching suggestions.
