ActivArmor is the first FDA-registered, 3D printed casting device on the market.
The proprietary ActivArmor process includes a scan (precise to the mm), creating a 3D model of the patient’s limb, and designs a completely individualized and fitted splint based on the physician’s specific positioning and instructions for each patient’s unique needs. The ActivArmor device is then custom fabricated for the patient from recyclable, biocompatible ABS plastic making it extremely sanitary as the patient can shower with it on. This is also covered by most insurances and can be billed like normal DME.
