The Powerheart Intellisense Adult Defibrillation Electrodes can alert you with a beeping sound 30 days before they expire when the electrode is connected to the Powerheart G5 AED. These electrodes routinely self-test for presence and functionality.
The electrode pads have a 2-year shelf life.
It is recommended to always have a spare set of adult electrodes with your AED in case of a second emergency.
