- Compex Sport Elite 2.0
Whether you're a weekend warrior looking to speed your recovery or an elite athlete trying to increase vertical jump, Compex devices can benefit you and can help you reach your goal.
Simply put, electric muscle stimulation trains your muscles in a way that traditional workouts alone cannot. It is a "best kept secret" many elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts use to enhance their workouts and training programs. Electric muscle stimulation (EMS) -- also known as neuromuscular electric stimulation (NMES), muscle stim or e-stim -- sends electronic pulses to your motor nerves in order to create muscle contractions.
When Compex electric muscle stimulation is added to your training, it helps maximize your muscular effort by engaging a greater percentage of muscle fibers. Compex targets both Type 1 slow twitch muscle fibers which impact endurance and Type 2 fast twitch muscle fibers with impact power and explosiveness. Compex can help your training efficiency allowing for enhanced fitness results.

ARE THE STIMULATORS SUPPLIED WITH ELECTRODES?
Yes. When you purchase a Compex Device you'll receive four small and two large electrodes.
HOW LONG IS THE COMPEX WARRANTY?
2-Year Warranty on your Device for Manufacture Defects - 60 Day Warranty for battery, cables, wall charger and electrodes
HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES REMAIN CHARGED?
Battery life varies depending on the programs used and the intensities selected. The average battery life is between 15 and 20 hours. If your Edge, Performance or Sport Elite device goes unused for 4+ weeks, then the battery will drain and can potentially no longer hold a charge and new replacement battery will need to be purchased.
HOW MANY TIMES CAN THE ELECTRODES BE USED?
Life of an electrode can vary greatly due to multiple variables. Things that can affect the life of an electrode include if you have oily skin, are placing the electrodes on a hairy surface, and if you store the electrodes in a warm humid area. When the electrodes have dry parts and are not adhering completely to the skin, or if you are feeling discomfort at the pad surface then it is time to replace them.
