Defibtech Lifeline VIEW/ECG/PRO Adult Electrode Pads (54351)

These Defibtech electrodes are general purpose external adult electrode pads for the Defibtech Lifeline VIEW, ECG, and PRO. Through these pads the Defibtech View can assess the patient impedance and analyze ECG to detect shockable/non-shockable heart rhythms.

  • These pads are for adult use only (8 years or older).
  • Pads should be stored connected to the AED.
  • Extra pads can be stored in the available carrying case
  • Two-year shelf life
Instructions for use:
  1. Remove clothing from patient's chest. If necessary, shave excessive chest hair.
  2. Tear open pads package.
  3. Peal pads from the blue liner.
  4. Apply pads to patient's bare chest as shown on the package and video display.
Defibtech Lifeline VIEW/ECG/PRO Pediatric Electrode Pads (54352)

The Defibtech Lifeline VIEW/ECG/PRO pediatric electrodes are for children under 8 years of age or less than 55 lbs. Through these pads the Defibtech VIEW/ECG/PRO can assess the pediatric patient's impedance and analyze ECG to detect shockable/non-shockable heart rhythms.
  • These pads should be used on infants/children (less than 8 years old or less than 55lbs.)
  • Pads should be readily available in carrying case.
  • Pad package has a two-year shelf life.
Instructions for use:
  1. Remove clothing from patient's chest. If necessary, shave excessive chest hair.
  2. Tear open pads package.
  3. Peal pads from the blue liner.
  4. Apply pads to patient's bare chest as shown on the package and video display.

  • Standby life of 4 years with daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly self-tests
  • 125 shocks or 8 hours of continuous operating time
How do you determine if your Defibtech VIEW/ECG/PRO battery needs to be replaced?
  • Check out the status indicator located next to the On/Off button.
  • If it is not flashing green, you can then press the center "soft-key" button to activate the display screen.
  • You will see the battery status indicator showing the amount of battery life remaining.
  • The AED will also give an audible indicator to let you know an alert condition exists.
It is important to always leave the battery in the AED, keeping it in ready for a rescue. Defibtech brand AEDs operate on batteries only.

How to Install Your Replacement Battery:
  • Remove the old battery: push the battery pack to release latch located just below the battery and just above the electrodes storage slot. Wait 10 seconds before installing the new battery.
  • Push the new battery into the slot until you hear the latch click. Battery is now securely installed.
  • Once the battery is installed, the VIEW/ECG/PRO will perform a battery pack insertion test.
  • When the test has completed, the unit will report the status of the battery pack, then return to standby mode.
These pads and battery will NOT fit the Defibtech Lifeline AED. Please check your current AED pads for the part number before selecting these pads
