Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, overtime as needed

Principal Duties:

This position is responsible for all incoming product. Tasks include unloading cartons and/or skids, checking the incoming product for damaged or missing items, and putting away and replenishing of products. Inventory accuracy is also a duty of this position. In addition to the above responsibilities, this position will be accountable for entering received items into the computer and following up with vendors on open purchase orders. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders or other records. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damages items, records shortages, and corresponds with vendors to rectify damages and shortages. Operates tier lift truck or uses hand-truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from receiving platform to storage or work area. Operates stand-up forklift to replenish inventory.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of 1 year recent or current experience on a forklift is required.
