- Following Directions Fun Deck
Help students learn to follow directions while having fun.
One of the most important developmental skills for a child to learn is the ability to follow directions. Get kids engaged in improving memory, motor skills, and auditory processing of direction skills.
Each card features a simple command, such as “Pretend you are playing drums” or “Growl like a bear.” Alongside the text is a colorful, kid-friendly image showing a child completing the task. Tasks are designed to engage gross motor skills, critical thinking, and vocalization in addition to teaching kids how to follow instructions.
Use cards individually to practice basic, single-step commands or combine them for multiple actions. Four connector cards with the words “and, are, before, and after” allow creating complex chains of actions and increase difficulty. Also included are content cards and game idea cards. Deck includes 52 different single step directions, four "connector" cards, content cards, and game idea cards in a sturdy storage tin. Cards measure 2-1/2" x 3-1/2". Grades PreK to 2.
