Gared Sports glass backboards offer unmatched durability and strength, making them ideal for all levels of play. All of Gared's glass backboards meet or exceed NCAA and NFHS standards and can even be found in NBA arenas. We stand firm on our commitment to quality and offer a full replacement for any backboard under warranty shown to be defective upon inspection. Durable 1/2" tempered glass in a heavy duty welded steel frame. Official target and border areas are fired into each board. High strength corner keyhole mounting brackets are positioned at standard rectangular and fan mounting points that assures proper installation. 42" x 72" size backboards are recommended for new installations. 48" x 72" backboard is sold as a replacement. Protective padding not included. NOTICE: The glass itself is not unbreakable and breakage in transit, during mounting or by malicious acts such as rock throwing or deliberate attempts to damage are not covered by this warranty.
