Posture system can be added to Kaye Benches and Kaye T-Seats (both sold separately) and combined in various ways to provide additional stability in sitting.
System consists of two components that can be used separately or together depending on postural requirements of the child.
Pelvic Support Component – adjusts the seat depth so that the length of the thigh is supported on seat surface. Adjustable height of back pad maintains the pelvis in vertical position. Adjustable lateral pelvic support pads minimize asymmetry of the trunk.
Femoral Stabilizer Component – comes with padded knee supports and built-in abductor to work with the pelvic support to prevent posterior pelvic tilt as well as rotation or obliquity of the pelvis. Also helps to stabilize the hips and thighs in a neutral alignment.
