The lighted curette utilizes a brilliant LED light projected to the tip of the curette significantly improving visibility into the ear canal. Single patient use tips reduce the risk of cross contamination in addition to eliminating time, labor and costs associated with re-sterilization. Cerumen removal is also potentially reimbursable under CPT code 69210. Lighted curettes come in a variety of models.
