P Pod Alternative Positioning Support Small

Designed to allow children with special seating needs to interact in a fun and engaging way while offering substantial postural support.

Incorporates a traditional bean bag chair with molded support to help maintain proper alignment. Lightweight yet sturdy.

Components of P Pod:

• Bean bag base allows change of position yet maintains support.
• Positioning pod is a heat-treated foam liner that encompasses the seating area and provides both optimal postural support and comfort.
• Bolster support assists with upright positioning.
• Quilted stretch velour cover with flip-up headrest and pelvic belt. Attaches with hook and loop for easy removal for cleaning (machine washable).

Contoured Chest Harness

X-style chest harness provides additional support to keep the upper body positioned in the P Pod.

Lateral Bolsters

Firm, but comfortable positioning pads designed to reduce chair width and provide support. Reduce the seat width by about 2 inches. Each is 1 inch thick and is placed underneath the removable cover.

Foot Bolster

Provides a place to rest the feet if they don't reach the floor. Having the feet supported puts less pressure on the thighs and buttock reducing the chance of pressure sores. Height adjustable.

Lap Tray

Molded plastic top provides a flat, stable surface for eating, reading, playing with a tablet, and playing with toys. Attaches with hook and loop fabric. Underside has a small beanbag attached so that the tray is stable during use. 20-1/2”W x 15-1/4”D.

Free Standing Tray

Provides a flat, stable surface for eating, reading, playing with a tablet, and playing with toys. Tray surface is angled and height adjustable. 20-1/2”W x 21-1/2”D, 18” – 22-3/4” overall height.

Mobility Base

Provides an easy way to transport the child from room to room. Small enough to fit through standard doorways. Comes with cushioned handles, front locking casters, and foot-operated brakes. Indoor Use Only. 40-1/2”L x 23”W x 41-3/4”H. Weight capacity 88 lbs.
