Tension spring assist folding mechanism is concealed in the base and provides instant and effortless height adjustments at 8’, 9’ and 10’. Maintenance free operation with oil impregnated bronze bushings on all hinge joints. Base is locked in position by 4 foot operated retractable floor pads. Rear base concealed ballast for stability. Includes a 42” x 72” acrylic backboard with steel rear support, aluminum frame and 2” thick molded foam padding. Center Strut™ design provides direct goal mounting which withstands slam dunking on the official ⅝” rigid competition goal. Telescoping brace mechanism locks goal at height and folds down for storage and transport. Unit weighs 1760 lbs., ships by truck.
