Product Description

The subject is asked to distinguish between a “raised E” and a non-stereo target. Figures cannot be identified without the viewing glasses to discourage guessing.

Test Contents:

  • One demonstration card, one test card, and one blank card
  • One pair of standard 3-D viewers and one pair of pediatric 3-D viewers

Cleaning:

For stereo tests and 3-D viewers/glasses, clean and disinfect the surface area gently with disinfectant wipes or a soft, slightly damp, and lint-free cloth with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Never spray alcohol directly on the surface.

  • Steropsis testing is conducted to assure the eyes are working together. For children whos eyes are not working together, the brain is unable to blend the separate images from each eye into one image.
  • Children who are unable to pass the steropsis test are at high risk for strabismus (Cross-eye) and/or amblyopia (Lazy Eye).
  • Suggested for children through 3rd grade or age 9.
  • Includes: 2 cards with random dot patterns, one of which contains a 3-dimensional picture of the letter E and Polarized glasses.
  • While wearing the glasses the picture is visible to individuals without binocular vision
