| Product Use/Directions | Fitting Instructions Simply separate the two pieces of the strap and lace the end piece through the eyelets to the shoulder pads. Wrap the long piece of the strap around the athlete's bicep. (Neoprene side against the skin.) Make sure the strap is in front of the arm, not behind it. Once the strap is secured around the bicep, hold the end of the strap against the front of the chest in the approximate position needed to stabilize the shoulder. Have the athlete try to externally rotate and abduct the arm to see if it allows enough functional motion, yet still protecting the shoulder. If you have any questions, contact your physician or medical professional for advice. When satisfied with the placement, simply Velcro the two straps together. Re-adjust as needed. |
