Product Description
SPAT-D II utilizes actual photographs of an adorable Golden Retriever named Dudsberry, in various settings or with different objects. These fun and colorful photos are sure to spontaneously elicit the child's production of consonant sounds.

The full color photographs are used to assess 59 consonant singletons and 10 consonant blends as well as 7 phonological processes and portray Dudsberry interacting with objects which contain the target phonemes. Sounds are easily elicited through this motivating context.

Tables for dialectical variations are presented and discussed. Standard scores, confidence intervals, percentile ranks, percentile bands and test-age equivalents are provided for both females and males ages 3 through 9.

Complete kit includes Test Manual, color photographs (4" x 6") in a bound album, 30 response forms all in a sturdy storage box. Ages 3 through 9. Testing time: 15 minutes.

Features:

  • Assess the phonological repertoire of the 3 through 9 year old child in a natural manner
  • Provide a systematic means of assessing the child's articulation of 59 consonant singletons according to syllabic function and manner of articulation
  • Identify articulation errors on 10 initial consonant blends containing the phonemes /s/, /r/, and /l/
  • Allow for analysis of production /s/, /r/, and /l/ in additional complex phonetic contexts useful for older children
