Swifty USB Switch Interface & Beam Wireless Transmitter

Swifty is an adaptive switch interface in an extremely compact package connecting up to 2 switches. It accepts industry standard 3.5 mm, stereo or mono plugs for directly connecting up to two adaptive switches. It can automatically detect a 3.5mm mono or stereo plug, no need to fuss with DIP switch for selecting a single or dual switch, saving time and eliminating opportunity for confusion.

Swifty is powered from the USB host and does not require external power. It uses standard USB Human Interface Device (HID) drivers and works with Windows, Macintosh and Linux computers, and many AAC devices.

Supports USB Remote Wakeup. an adaptive switch can be used to not only access a computer it can be used to wake it from sleep (USB Host must support Remote Wakeup). Even if you're not using Swifty for access you can use it to wake up your computer.

Swifty includes an integrated wireless receiver. Use with Beam infrared transmitter to use adaptive switches without being tethered to the computer. Beam also has an additional input for up to three adaptive switches. Beam has internal batteries that will provide months of typical operation.

Beam uses low power infrared light to communicate with the HeadMouse Extreme or Swifty much like a television remote control. A receiver is built-in to the HeadMouse Extreme and is located near one of the HeadMouse logos behind the small window. A receiver is also built into Swifty and is located under the window in the overlay.

The switch jacks accept industry standard adaptive switches, which use 1/8-inch (3.5-mm) plugs. Single and dual switches with mono or stereo plugs may be used with Beam. 3 standard 3.5mm (1/8”) connectors for supporting up to 3 switches
