The Zone™ Cannon Hoop Challenge

Six hoops placed in holders; in vertical position. Multiple flat rubber spots in a pile. Six igloo shaped devices with openings for inserting a foam ball. Six balls. All objects are in 6 colors – red; orange; yellow; green; blue; purple.

This fast-paced game includes our student favorite Cannon Launchers. Up to six teams line up, launch, run, collect, and cheer on as each player tries to get their ball through the hoop. Each package comes with enough equipment to get even the largest classes engaged. The best part is that all equipment can be used repeatedly for numerous other games and activities, stretching your budget dollars further.

Product Description

Gameplay:

Insert hoops in matching color foam hoop holders and place in a row, each 2’ apart.
Line up six matching color spots behind each hoop, adjusted for age and ability.
Place a matching color Cannon Launcher and foam ball on the first spot of each column.
Teams line up behind the last spot in each column.
Starting from the first row of spots, at the whistle, players attempt to launch their foam balls through the hoops.
If unsuccessful, the player recovers their foam ball, hands it off to the next player to try again and moves to the back of the line.
If successful, the player recovers their foam ball, hands it off to the next player, and moves to the back of the line. The next player moves the Cannon Launcher back to the second spot and launches their foam ball.
Teams repeat steps 6 and/or 7 until a successful launch has been from each spot.

Game play should move quickly. Add music to create energy and excitement. Suggested distance between each hoop and each spot is 2-3 feet but should be adjusted based on the age and ability of the players.
