Product Description

No dodgeball? No problem.

Flying Saucer Face Off affords any school or program the opportunity to see the same physical and entertaining benefits received from dodgeball without intentional contact. Instead of throwing balls at students, teams toss non-threatening DodgeDISCs at weighted targets. Once a team’s targets have all been knocked over, the game ends. In this game, all students get to play the entire game.

Looking for an alternative to DodgeDISCs? Try The Zone™ Alien Spaceship Battle, which includes options with and without foam balls.

Each Package Includes:

  • (17) Weighted Alien Targets, Orange
  • (17) Weighted Alien Targets, Green
  • (5) Assorted Style Spaceships, Orange
  • (5) Assorted Style Spaceships, Green
  • (1) The Zone 10-in DodgeDISC, 6-Color Set

Gameplay Instructions:

Divide the class into two teams. Each team places their ships randomly on their side of the court. This part is key, and strategy is a must. The matching color weighted alien targets are placed on each spaceship. Place DodgeDISCs, or other soft projectiles, on the center line. At the whistle, teams toss DISCs at the opposing targets. The first team to knock them all over wins.

Optional Rules:

  1. DISCs must only be tossed at the targets. Throwing a DISC at a classmate results in elimination or disqualification.
  2. Reduce or increase the number of DISCs to adjust the difficulty level.
  3. Laser Beam Addition
    1. Place one player with a foam noodle, from each team, on either side of the center line.
    2. At the whistle, these players can make full passes across the center line while using their foam noodle as a “laser beam” to deflect the incoming Flying Saucers (DISCs).
    3. Players must make a continuous pass. They cannot stop and wait for DISCs.
    4. Players cannot swing the laser beams at other players or at alien targets.
