ZOLL® AEDs regularly run comprehensive self-tests on electrodes, battery, and internal circuitry to ensure they’re ready when you need them. However, visually checking the status of all your AEDs each day can be time consuming and labor intensive. You can feel confident your Powerheart® G5 AED is ready to rescue with dependable remote monitoring and real-time notifications in between your routine inspections. When paired with a Powerheart G5 AED, the Rescue Ready Monitor constantly monitors ready status over Wi-Fi and sends an immediate alert when it detects an error, allowing you to act quickly to ensure your Powerheart G5 AED is ready to rescue.

Here’s how the ZOLL Rescue Ready Monitor works:

1. Your Powerheart G5 AED performs a self-test and detects an error in one of three critical components (pads, battery, and/or device functionality).
2. The Rescue Ready indicator button on the AED flips from green to red, and the AED immediately emits an audible tone.
3. The Rescue Ready Monitor recognizes the AED’s unique tone and transmits an alert via your wireless network.
4. A ZOLL PlusTrac™ email notification* is sent to all registered points of contact, indicating which AED is experiencing an error, its serial number, device location, and other relevant data. *Existing or new ZOLL PlusTrac account required.
