About the Presenters:

Janice Selekman developed and edited School Nursing: A Comprehensive Text. She also is the author of the School Nursing Certification Review. Janice is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Delaware. She is a Nationally Certified School Nurse and a Fellow in the National Academy of School Nursing.

Robin Adair Shannon is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Director of the School Nurse Certificate Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing. Robin has been a school nurse since 2000. She is a Nationally Certified School Nurse and serves on the National Board for Certification of School Nurses.

Cathy Yonkaitis is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois for the Chicago College of Nursing. She is a Nationally Certified School Nurse and a member of the NASN Board of Directors. Cathy has been a school nurse for 17 years, the last 11 of which have been teaching in the UIC School Nurse Certificate program.
