Product Description
Great for students with phonological disorders as well as other goals such as creating a story based on the picture, articulation carry-over, inferring, and overall expressive language tasks.
Minimal pairs are pairs of words that differ by only one sound (such as “beach” and “peach”). Illustrated minimal pair picture cards show children how changing one sound in a word can affect the meaning of an entire sentence – often with silly results!
Targets five different phonological processes, including Gliding, Stridency Deletion, Initial Consonant Deletion, Prevocalic Voicing, and Postvocalic Devoicing. Grades PreK and up.
Card deck comes in a sturdy storage box and includes:
- 100 full-color cards (3” x 5”) that are easy for small hands to hold
- Color-coded cards for easy sorting by phonological process
- Content and game idea cards
