The Zoll AED Plus uses 10 type 123 Duracell Lithium Batteries. Batteries installed in the ZOLL AED Plus typically have a 5-year life from the date of installation. The AED Plus uses redundant circuitry, so if one set
of five (5) batteries fails, the other five (5) are there for backup. ZOLL brand AEDs operate on batteries only. Always have a fully charged spare set available.
It is strongly recommend using only Duracell Ultra Type 123 Batteries to assure long life.
