Balance beams are constructed from solid hardwood and finished in a clear lacquer for durability. 100 lbs. weight capacity.

Convertible Balance Beam

Contains one beam and two bases. Develop balance in two stages. The beam’s two different sides can be alternated depending on the challenge desired. Begin with the wider 3-1/2" surface. As the student improves move to the more challenging 1-1/4" width. Both narrow and wide sides of the 72" long beam fit the bases, which have slots to hold both widths. Rubber matting on the base bottoms prevent slipping. Beam measures 3-1/2" x 1-1/4" x 72". Two bases measure 4" x 12" each.

Variable Balance Beam

Four beams can be configured in multiple patterns, such as straight line, box, ‘V’, ‘M’, or ‘Z’. Choose a configuration that best fit the student and activities needed, and to vary the level of difficulty. Beams pivot independently, with no tools needed for adjustment. Reinforced support bases hold the beams above the floor. Four beams each measure 4” x 44”. Five bases each measure 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” x 8”.
