Physio-Control Infant/Child Electrode Pads (11101-000016)

Infant/Child Reduced Energy Defibrillation Electrodes are to be used with LIFEPAK AEDs for children less than 8 years of age or 55lbs. Infant/Child Electrodes are smaller than adult defibrillation electrodes. The electrode reduces the energy dose delivered to the patient by a factor of four. If the AED is set up to deliver a dosage of 200, 300, 360J using adult defibrillation pads, the dose will be approximately 50, 75, 86J with the Infant/Child Electrodes.

It is recommended to always have a set of infant/child pads in case of a pediatric cardiac arrest event. While pediatric cardiac events and more unlikely than adult cardiac arrest, being prepared can save a life.

The expiration for the infant/child pads is 2 years from the manufactured date.

It is recommended to always have a spare pediatric electrode with your AED in case of a second emergency.
