Technology Support Analyst

We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst who will:

  • Provide support to internal business users for incidents and requests made to the service desk.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to our ERP system, telecommunication systems, other business applications, as well as general technology.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation on open issues/requests, while communicating with the business user, working towards timely resolution of issues to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with other internal and external resources to get assistance in resolving issues.
  • Create a positive customer experience and build strong relationships through deep problem understanding, and handling of customers with a consummately professional attitude.
  • Grow general knowledge of technology systems to increase ability to resolve requests on first contact.
  • Perform administrative duties related to telecommunication systems, enterprise systems, and other technology systems including setting up new users, security settings, modifying system settings, performing maintenance, and other administrative duties to ensure those systems are operational and meet business user’s needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on all procedures related to support, administration, and maintenance of technology systems.
  • Document solutions to issues to build our internal knowledgebase
  • Update technology inventory if any software/hardware changes are required as a results of a service request.
  • Provide basic in-house training on various technology applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive, Skype, etc.

The position requires:

  • One to three years’ experience in a technical support environment.
  • Two or Four Year Technical Trade School or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong customer focus & service oriented attitude
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting ability
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Strong initiative and follow through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and use time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
